There is a two night minimum stay for all accommodations. During July and August, room and cottage reservations are by the week (Saturday to Saturday) -- shorter stays are occasionally available. Call for availability.

Rates in July and August include Kid Camp for children age 2-12.
Guests of the lodge may use our Keowee kayaks and Trek off-road bikes at no charge.

For our more adventurous guests we also rent Dagger and Sealution sea kayaks. Guests should be able to demonstrate kayaking proficiency or take a lesson from the Registered Maine Guide on staff to use Dagger and Sealution sea kayaks.

Sailing, astronomy and Spa Services are also available.

B&B room rates include a full breakfast, daily housekeeping services and firewood delivery (where applicable).
An 18% gratuity will be added to all food and beverages and 7% Maine State tax will be added to all charges.

SMOKING POLICY
Goose Cove Lodge is a non-smoking inn. Smoking is allowed outside in designated areas.

TELEVISIONS & TELEPHONES
In keeping with our tradition, there are no televisions or telephones in the guestrooms. Personal phone calls may be received on 207-348-2508. A connection for laptop computers is available in the lodge. There is a television with satellite dish and VCR in the Rec Hall.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Check-in is after 3:00 p.m. Please call the lodge if you will be arriving after 5:30 p.m. Check out is 10:30 a.m.

GROUPS & EVENTS
Goose Cove Lodge provides an idyllic setting for weddings, family reunions, executive retreats, and business meetings. Fine food, exceptional service, and unrivaled coastal Maine vistas help ensure the success of such important events. All meals can be catered to suit.

Goose Cove Lodge is particularly attractive for weddings and other special occasions where family and friends can gather for a weekend of celebrating.

DINING
Goose Cove Lodge is among the rare coterie of retreats where the kitchen is a culinary match for its spectacular setting. Menus reflect, in the most healthful and creative ways, the purity and abundance of local offerings.

The Point Dining Room at Goose Cove Lodge offers breakfast each morning and diningseven nights a week. The restaurant hosts a full bar with spirits and maintains a fine wine list. Guests are advised to make reservations for dining at the time the room reservation is made as the dining room is fully booked each evening. Box lunches are available throughout the season by pre-order.

Evening meals in the lodge dining room are geared to adult tastes. In the summer season, children are served nutritious and appealing meals in Toad Hall as part of our Children's Program at no additional charge.

Dress for breakfast is casual. Shorts are not permitted in the dining room at dinner.

KID CAMP
Our most popular amenity for both children and adults alike, is Kid Camp, which runs during the summer from Tuesday, July 1st to Sunday, August 31st. There is no charge for Kid Camp. Children two and up may dine in Toad Hall, which is the children's activities hall, at 5:30 p.m. Their dinner hour is followed by a variety of activities that last until 8:30 p.m. Kid Camp activities focus on nature and teamwork and include Arts & Crafts, Nature Walks, Tidal Pool Exploration, Kite Flying, Puppet Shows, Soccer, Volleyball, Jewelry Making, Gnome Home Building, Scavenger Hunts and more. The program is offered nightly, excluding Monday night. The children's program serves food that children like to eat. The daily changing menu for the children's dinner is posted in Toad Hall. Baby sitting is available for children under two years old at $10-15/hour. Additional childcare may be arranged either directly with an individual baby sitter, with the children's program director, or through the front desk. A 24-hour notice is requested.

PETS
We are unable to accommodate pets at Goose Cove Lodge, except those that are companions to the disabled.

DEPOSITS
A deposit equal to one night, or 1/3 of your stay, whichever is greater, is required to confirm a reservation. Payment may be made through Visa, Master Card, Discover, personal checks, and Traveler's Checks. A credit card number is required to reserve a room regardless of method of payment. Deposits by check must be received within 7 days of making a reservation or the space will be resold. Upon receipt of deposit, your reservation will be confirmed in writing.

CANCELLATIONS
Goose Cove Lodge is located in a fairly remote and inaccessible area with a very brief high season period. We have found it necessary to strengthen our cancellation policy based on these and other considerations.

All rooms are offered subject to availability on receipt of confirmation and deposit. A reservation is confirmed when the deposit is received. Deposits will not be returned for cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled arrival date in low season, or 60 days in advance of a scheduled arrival date in high season or on holiday weekends. All cancellations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Guests will be responsible for all room charges if they depart early or arrive late. No allowance will be made for late arrivals, cancelled flights, temporary absence, meals not taken or accommodations being vacated before the end of the booked stay. We regret that the terms accepted cannot be changed during the stay. All rates are subject to change without notice. Vacation insurance is strongly recommended.
