Waldron Trail Nature Center and Gift Shop
For the more practical needs of the guests at the Lodge, the gift shop stocks a number of vacation amenities including batteries, film, phone cards, sunblock, insect repellent and toiletries.

The Waldren Nature Center

Guided
nature walks, offered weekly, by a naturalist for adults (and
children over the age of six);
Keowee
kayaks for exploring the coves of Deer Isle;
Mountain
and road bikes available for touring the area;
Twice
a week we look at the stars and neighboring galaxies through
our research grade telescope, when the skies are clear.
For an additional fee:
Our 24 foot sailboat is available to charter with our skipper.
Sailing lessons and tours of Penobscot Bay may be arranged.
You may also hire a guide
for half or full day sea kayak tours and lessons.
